Modified Phase III "Extreme" Water Shortage Restrictions:

The Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) has extended its Modified Phase III "Extreme" Water Shortage restrictions through October 1, 2026. The restrictions, initially enacted on April 3, 2026, were set to expire on July 1, 2026. SWFWMD approved the extension on June 23, 2026, due to ongoing drought conditions throughout the region.
